Emma's Beach Party Cake

 6"-8"-10"
This cake is for my niece, Emma. =) White almond sour cream cake with buttercream filling. All of the accents were made with fondant. For the "water" around the base of the cake, I used piping gel. The sand around the cake is animal crackers that I put in the food processor.

And.....the cake below is the birthday cake that I made for Emma two years ago when I was brand new to caking! This was the 2nd cake I ever made! haha

I absolutely love this cake! I am a cake baker as well. I am going to try to do something like this, this weekend for a Birthday Party for 5 girls! How long did it take you to make?? Were the fondant pieces hard to make?

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me. california cakes in redlands
