Mini Valentine's Day Cakes

3"-4"
I made these fun little cakes for my mom, her best friend and 2 of my sisters for Valentine's Day. They were so tiny and I loved decorating them so much! I picked a color scheme and wanted them to look like they were sort of a "set" of cakes that you would buy together! Haha
Here is a picture that shows just how small the cakes were...
I put them next to a 26 oz can of salt for comparison. If you were to take away the topper and the cake base, they would be the same height as the salt can. =)
All 4 cakes are white chocolate macadamia nut cake with white chocolate buttercream filling. I chose that flavor because last year for our summer vacation, I made white chocolate macadamia nut cupcakes with the white chocolate frosting and they were a big hit with my family. =)

these are so cute! I love your blog! Just wondered, were the cake base plates you used on these 5"? if so where did you find that size? I have used 4" and 6" but it looks like 6" might be too big for these! PS-is there somewhere on your page to subscribe to your posts via email?

thanks!
