I just found your blog, and I love your cakes. Could I ask you a few questions? I looked back at your cakes from 2009 and that's how my cakes look now-the sides are a bit bumpy and show the cake through, but your cakes now are very smooth. How do you achieve that? Do you use store bought fondant, homemade, or marshmallow fondant? Sorry, for all the questions. I would love to get better at this and figured asking those better than I might help. Thanks!
